Oh, 2020. You flipped all of our lives upside down, but we finally all know how to wash our hands properly and have realized we are all pretty germy! I do appreciate how you slowed life down and showed us how we can enjoy a simpler way of life... but we are ready to see you go!

I lied, well, sort of when I said our time in Europe was coming to an end. We will still be spending some afternoons in Europe but will be sleeping in Asia. Our bags are packed and we have our negative-COVID tests in hand because we are flying to Istanbul today! I'm very excited and yet, nervous about the unknown.
FUN FACT: Istanbul is the only city in the world that's spread over two continents. 97% of Turkey's territory lies in Asia and only 3% of its territory lies in Europe.
