Now I feel a sense of relief and will sleep well tonight! Austin's COVID test came back today at noon and was negative—yay! But then the next nine hours went by with no emailed results for the rest of us. I was starting to panic because we must have a negative COVID certificate to board our flight tomorrow morning. I tried to inquire about it with the Red Cross with no luck. Fortunately, the results just arrived in my inbox and we are set for our flight to Gran Canaria! Step 3 of 5 complete!
We didn't think we would be in Lisbon this long, but we ended up spending more time here than in any other place on our trip. We got to know our way around town pretty well and frequented the same places many times. It made it extra fun when we would recognize the employees and when they'd recognize us. BTW-People just know we are foreigners by looking at us from across the street. What gives it away?!
If all goes as planned, we will be back in Portugal in two weeks and will be spending Christmas in the town of Porto.
Checking out the Christmas lights one last time.
Every street in the heart of town has a different style and color of Christmas lights.
We stopped by our favorite bakery, Casa Sao Miguel (our 4th visit!).
Casa Sao Miguel was out of our favorite cherry muffins tonight but these were tasty!
That’s wonderful news! We are looking forward to hearing about your next adventures! Safe travels and stay healthy😎 Love you🥰
